ING Group is a modern company that focuses on developing the talents of its employees globally. We demonstrated this by organizing the CodING hackathon, an event aimed at ING Group's top programmers from around the world. The event promoted the brand's values as well as Poland and Silesia.

We organized a unique event showcasing the brand's values of developing new technologies and investing in people.

We created a comprehensive event in the unique industrial space, WALCOWNIA Zinc Rolling Mill in Katowice, located in the largest post-industrial hall in Silesia, which we fully adapted to the nature of the meeting. Thus, we emphasized the technological nature of the event, as well as the local atmosphere of Silesia.

Our tasks included laying out the facility's infrastructure, separating thematic zones and preparing coherent visual branding. We prepared a scenario for the 24-hour event, taking into account activities in each of the thematic zones, stimulating motivation and inspiring programmers to find new solutions.

We created the first coding marathon of this scale in Poland. We achieved all the goals set by the client: promoting the brand and creating an international platform for sharing experiences.

The bold creation resulted in a unique combination of a modern hackathon idea and an authentic location.

In 6 months, we managed to organize a staff of experienced specialists, prepare the documentation of the electrical and IT networks, set up server rooms and an electrical network, and provide an Internet connection in a location completely unsuitable for use.

The event was widely covered on social media and generated hundreds of publications.
