The 5 most exciting AI trends from our perspective

The future is now. Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual and Augmented Reality (VR/AR) have firmly entered the brand experience industry. We are constantly searching for the best solutions. Here are the 5 most interesting trends and opportunities that can be leveraged in events and communication!

1. It's a Match! AI Will Assist in Networking.

Events provide an incredible opportunity to meet interesting people and establish business relationships that can turn into large projects. However, in practice, many attendees may feel lost in a crowd of unfamiliar faces, especially at large events. This is where artificial intelligence can help. At the Consumer Electronics Show (CES), a matching feature was used to connect guests based on the data and preferences they entered. Furthermore, AI can suggest which sessions or workshops our guests should attend to make the most out of the event according to their interests.

Examples? Here they are: Eventbrite, Meetup and Bumble Bizz.

2. Photobooth of the future.

Who hasnt dreamt of having a photo with their idol? Raise your hand. Thanks to AR, this is possible, and using this feature can attract even the biggest skeptics. A photobooth at an event? Sounds boring. A photobooth with AR? Thats something guests will remember for a long time, and the photo sent to them can be shared on their social media moments later to promote our event.

3. Natural environment? AI and AR will help take care of it.

In the briefs we receive, clients are increasingly paying attention to ensuring the products they order are designed with environmental care and meet their goals. Once again, virtual technologies offer possibilities, such as creating an entire event in virtual reality, which reduces travel. Another simple use of AR is using the technology for navigating complex spaces, which can reduce the production of scenography, maps, or informational brochures.

At Allegro, we offer clients the possibility to create hybrid and online events using our proprietary tool, ATOOL. How does it work? You will find out from the material below.

4. Even more impressions and entertaiment.

A few years ago, in its advertising campaign, Pepsi used augmented reality to promote its sugar-free drink by redesigning a bus stop in London, allowing people waiting for transport to witness, among other things, a UFO invasion or a tiger walking among pedestrians. And it looked very realistic! However, AR isnt just for entertainment. It can be an impressive tool that transforms an ordinary exhibition booth into a multimedia center. Just point your smartphone at it, and hidden curiosities will appear on the screen in the form of 3D product models or video materials.

5. In a sea of possibilities - how to succeed?

One of the leading topics during SXSW was a discussion on what success in the world of AI might depend on. The conclusion is quite simple: success will come to those who can find and adapt to continuously advancing technological solutions. As our Event Creative Director, Michał Korejba, explained upon returning from the United States, its primarily about people who are not afraid to experiment with AI, as we are in a time of transformation comparable to the advent of personal computers or the Internet. Not using AI yet? Nothing is lost, and the vice president of OpenAI, Peter Dang, who sees potential in artificial intelligence that "will move the world," directly encourages playing with and using it.
